Superb GCSE Attainment in Challenging Times

Our Lady of Lourdes GCSE results once again places the school in the top 5% of Non-Selective Schools when bench marked against similar type Post Primary schools and as an all-ability school, we celebrate the excellent achievements of our pupils in what has been a very difficult and challenging two years.

Our pupils are entered for a minimum of 9 GCSEs and 100% of all Year 12 pupils attained 5 or more GCSES at A* to C with 93% achieving 7 or more GCSEs at A* to C

79% of our pupils achieved 5 GCSEs at A* to C including English and Maths with 62% of the Year 12 cohort achieving 9 or more GCSEs at A* to C.

The GCSE results at Our Lady of Lourdes School clearly demonstrate the benefits of a supportive small school ethos and the added value given by a diligent, caring and passionate staff with individual results such as 2A*, 6 As and 1 B.

We would also like to acknowledge the continued support and loyalty that we receive from our parents and recognise that our success is defined by a whole school community who identify and match the need of each individual child who place their aspirations in our hands.
