Shared Education Today some of Year 8 students were involved in the Harmonies for Reconciliation project which was delivered by the Connecting Minds Project in partnership with Beyond Skin. The students discussed peacebuilding, cultural understanding, environmental reflection, and youth leadership. We look forward to continuing this project later in the year. ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿช˜๐Ÿช˜

8Bโ€™s Christmas term class project was on one of our school Core Values- Kindness. As a class we decided to demonstrate Kindness and the gift of giving by collecting considerable donations for Benvardin Dog Kennels and Ballymoney Foodbank. Two very important charities that help all those in need, especially at this time of year. A special mention to our pupil Maisha who was the driving force behind our special class Christmas project. She was delighted to receive a special recognition certificate for her Act of Kindness during this project from Mr Smyth. Well done we are all so proud of you! ๐Ÿ”ดโšซ๏ธ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ

Incredible day at St Josephs Primary School, all the P7 pupils had a fantastic time exploring the bold and imaginative world of Picassoโ€™s Cubist art. After learning how Picasso broke objects into shapes and angles, the class got to experiment with oil pastels and watercolours to create their very own Cubist masterpieces. The results were fantastic โ€” vibrant colours, expressive lines, creative compositions, and lots of proud smiles! It was wonderful to see everyone embracing experimentation and having fun with new artistic techniques. Well done St Josephs Primary 7โ€™s, Your creativity, energy and work ethic truly shone through today.
