🏆 Welcome back Reece! 🏆 We were delighted to welcome back our past pupil Reece Cunning into Our Lady of Lourdes today. Reece was one of TEN past Our Lady of Lourdes students who won the Antrim Football Championship with Dunloy last week! Reece along with our staff members Mr Smith, Mr McGarry and Mr Laverty discussed the attributes required to reach the top of your sport. They also reminisced about the brilliant experiences they had playing on sports teams in Our Lady of Lourdes. All the staff and pupils would like to wish everyone at Dunloy good luck in their upcoming Ulster Quarter Final against Newbridge. ⚫️🔴🟢🟡

Halloween Drawing Competition Winners 🏆 🎃 Well done to everyone who entered the competition. There were over 60 entries! It was wonderful to see the creativity from the students and it was difficult to pick a winner! Congratulations to Ellie Rose for coming first place, Ava-Dougherty and Dean for coming second place and Lydia and Chloe for coming third place. Highly commended prizes were awarded to Erica, Savanna, Cara, Daniel and Willow. Art Captains Chi Chi, Lacey and Taniya presented the prizes to the winners.

A massive thank you to Matthew Taylor and everyone from Finvoy Young Farmers Club who very generously donated £500 to our School! 🚜🐄🤠

🎓Confidence in Our Learning Assemblies🎓 Last week our Assemblies were led by the Student Leadership Team.  Head Girl Kirsten, Head Boy Lucas, Deputy Head Girl Caitlin and Deputy Head Boy Charlie shared their own hints and tips on how to make the school year a success! 📚✏️🎓

Thank you to Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke for visiting our school and speaking to our students about the real dangers of vaping. An eye opening session that sparked important conversations and helped raise awareness about the risks to heart and lung health.

Our Year 8 students had great fun learning about measures this week in Maths, while also creating some spooky Halloween Lava Lamps! 🎃🔦
