We are pleased to confirm that the school will be open tomorrow, Wednesday 7th January. The site has been fully checked and is safe for students and staff.
Please note:
Parents should make their own assessment regarding travel conditions in their area and only travel if it is safe to do so.
While the site is safe, caution should still be taken when moving around the school grounds, as some areas may remain slippery.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Over the past month, the Art Department has been busy fundraising in the run-up to Christmas, with a range of creative and engaging events. These included a Christmas raffle, drawing competitions, a ‘guess the cuddly toy’s name’ challenges, and a craft evening. The craft evening was organised and run by our Year 11 and Year 12 Art and Photography Captains, who planned the activities and created many of the resources themselves. Thanks to the enthusiasm and support of students, parents and staff, a fantastic total of £940 was raised. This money will be used to invest in new digital equipment for the Art Department. Well done everyone!🎄👏

✨ Christmas Reflection Service ✨
Today, our whole school community came together for a truly beautiful Christmas Reflection Service. It was a moment of unity, joy, and reverence as we prepared our hearts for the season.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the students who read so thoughtfully, and to our wonderful singers whose voices lifted the service and made it even more memorable. Their contributions brought a special spirit to the occasion and reminded us all of the meaning of Christmas. ❤️🖤

🎄 SPL’s Christmas Fun Day 🎄
Our pupils had a fantastic time getting into the festive spirit with arts and crafts, baking, and a cosy Christmas movie. It was wonderful to see classes bonding together, sharing laughter, and producing some truly stellar work.
A huge thank you to Miss Greer for organising such a joyful day, and to our dedicated LSAs for all their support in making it a success! 🌟
