A group of Year 9 and Year 10 students recently took part in an exciting digital art workshop delivered by Nerve Centre Belfast.
The session began with a fascinating look at archive footage, including clips of fashion students from Belfast Art College in the 1960s sharing their predictions of what people would be wearing in the 2000s. Students also explored a range of other historical archive materials, giving them an insight into how ideas, creativity and technology have evolved over time.
Following this, students were introduced to Procreate on the iPads and learned a range of digital illustration techniques. They then applied their new skills to create their own digital artwork, producing some excellent and highly creative outcomes.
A huge thank you to Nerve Centre Belfast for delivering such an engaging and inspiring workshop!
