Year 11 GCSE Moving Image Arts students had the privilege to attend the Moving Image Arts Showcase 2025 at the SSE Arena. They watched the best films and animations created by GCSE, AS and A2 students. Afterwards they enjoyed interacting with the film industry careers exhibition. Students gained valuable insight and inspiration from today for their own future films! 🎥
A huge well done to all the pupils for taking part in the “Picasso Art Workshop” in St Patrick’s Primary School, Rasharkin yesterday.
The creativity, imagination, focus and hard work have truly shown through. Each piece of work tells a wonderful story and shows how talented you all are. Well done indeed.

Well done to our Year 12 student and Senior Prefect Lacey-May, who recently represented our school at a Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People (NICCY) Youth Panel Event to mark Universal Children’s Day!
During the event, Lacey-May facilitated conversations with young people on physical and mental health, encouraging them to share their experiences and concerns. She contributed to group discussions on how children’s rights could be better protected in legislation and how young people can influence positive change. Throughout the day she showed maturity, leadership, and confidence, helping ensure that the voices of her peers were heard!
