A brilliant day out at Ulster University, Coleraine! Our GCSE Science, Health & Social Care, and PE students enjoyed a hands-on experience exploring an exciting range of courses — from Pharmacy and Sports Nutrition to Outdoor Adventure. It was a fantastic opportunity to get a real taste of university life and discover that there truly is something for everyone. 🧑‍🔬👨‍🔬🥼🔬🔭
We were delighted to welcome INTO Film Belfast into school to deliver an exciting game design workshop with some of our Year 9 students. The session was expertly led by Alessia Biagoila, who guided pupils through the creative process of designing their own games while developing their problem-solving and digital creativity skills. Students will continue to create their own game design front cover in art class in the coming weeks. A fantastic and engaging experience for all involved. ⚫️🔴⚫️🔴
Our Year 11 student and massive Portstewart FC supporter Darragh alongside Mr Smith, Mr McGarry, Mr Grath and Mr Quigley of Dunloy FC. It was the staff who came away with the victory today as Dunloy ran out 3-1 winners. 🔴⚫️🔴⚫️
Today, KS3 students took part in a Prayer Service for Catholic Schools’ Week 2026. Pupils led the service through prayers, song and quiet reflection, encouraging one another to live out the message and values of Christ in their daily lives.
Year 11 and Year 12 GCSE Art and Photography students attended the Wild Ireland: Past • Present • Future exhibition at the Ballymoney Museum. The exhibition featured a selection of fantastic paintings by renowned wildlife artist Julian Friers. The paintings showcased landscapes and habitats from across the Causeway Coast and Glens. The students were amazed by his stunning work and will use this exemplar research as part of their GCSE coursework portfolio. 🎨
Year 8 historians! 🏛️ As part of our Roman history topic, students have been learning about the Colosseum. They put their knowledge into practice by creating their own models, carefully crafting and labelling each section to show how this incredible building was used in Roman times. ⚫️🔴⚫️🔴
⚽️Under 13 Football⚽️ Our year 8 and 9 boys today travelled to Score in Coleraine finishing second on their group and then losing out in the semi final by the narrowest of margins 1-0. The boys played extremely well and should be very proud of their performance. Well done lads!!🔴⚫️🔴⚫️
