Today our Year 8 students enjoyed an inspiring trip to Ballycastle Beach, taking part in a hands-on art project inspired by artist Andy Goldsworthy. 🌿🌊
Using only natural materials they found along the shore, the students created some truly imaginative and thoughtful pieces of art. It was fantastic to see their creativity, teamwork, and appreciation for the natural environment come to life in such a meaningful way.
A wonderful day of learning outside the classroom—well done Year 8! 👏✨
A big thank you to the Rotary Club and our Emergency Services for yesterday’s informative and eye‑opening demonstration on the dangers of driving. It delivered an important and timely message to our Year 12 pupils, who will be embarking on their driving journeys next year. A speical well done to our Year 12 students Daniel and Ollie who acted in the demonstration. ❤️🖤
We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievement of our Year 11 student, Harry, who has successfully earned his place in the Ulster Rugby 2011 Clubs Squad!
After months of dedication, hard work, and outstanding performances through multiple rounds of provincial trials and domestic matches, Harry’s commitment has truly paid off. This is a fantastic accomplishment and a testament to his talent, determination, and resilience.
Harry will now go on to represent Ulster as he competes against other provinces in the coming months — an exciting opportunity at a highly competitive level.
Congratulations, Harry — we wish you every success in the next stage of your rugby journey! 🔴⚫️🔴⚫️
Lá Glas/Green Day
Students and staff had a fantastic time celebrating Lá Glas/Green Day, proudly wearing green to raise funds for Trócaire.
Mr Magee and Mr Campbell, with great support from Kealen, Tiernan and Martin, organised an exciting poc fada competition that saw pupils take on staff in a friendly but fierce contest.
Deputy Head Girl Caitlin and Year 10 student Tiernan emerged as the top pupils, while Miss McLaughlin claimed victory in the closely fought female staff competition. Mr Shiels secured the win for the male staff. Comhghairdeas — congratulations to all our winners!
A huge thank‑you to Mr Magee for bringing the poc fada idea to life, and to the PE department for providing the prizes. And of course, sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to raising funds for Trócaire. 💚❤️
Well done to Chloe who recently achieved her Trinity College London Grade 1 in Drums! ✨🥁🎶
On Friday we were treated to an amazing performance by Amber Rose showing off her Irish dancing skills! 💚❤️🖤

What a fantastic morning at Bring a Friend to Breakfast Club!
Great food, great conversations, and even better company! It was brilliant to see so many familiar faces and to welcome some new ones along too. Nothing beats starting the day with a good breakfast, plenty of laughs, and a room full of positive energy.
Thanks to everyone who came along and brought a friend — mornings like this are what make our community special. Looking forward to the next one! 🥣🧃☕️
